Windows 10 October 2018 Update Launch May Be Followed by Windows Team Reorg

Microsoft will roll out the new Windows 10 October 2018 Update, and this release marks an important milestone for the company for several reasons.

Not only that it represents another major feature update for Windows 10, but the October 2018 Update could also be the exiting update for Windows chief Terry Myerson.

Myerson announced earlier this year that he would be living the company, and according to Microsoft watcher Brad Sams, this could happen after the software giant ships the next big Windows 10 Update.

No layoff though

As a result, an internal reorganization of the Windows team is possible after the update gets the go-ahead, though by the looks of things, there are no planned layoffs for the time being.

“There might be a re-org inside the Windows world after Redstone 5 ships. This might be actually how Terry Myerson eventually exits.
