Alleged Leak Reveals Samsung’s No-Notch, Hole-in-the-Screen Phone Design

In its struggle to stay away from notches, Samsung is exploring several design approaches, including drilling holes in the screens in order to bundle all front-facing parts right under the glass.

The South Korean firm has recently teased a potential Galaxy A8s that could be based on such an idea, and by the looks of things, the company is getting closer towards making this real.

An alleged leak making the rounds right now shows what it’s believed to be a Galaxy A8s screen protector, which in its turn provides us with an early look at the design of the screen.

As you can see in the photo attached to the article, there’s a hole at the top of the screen which seems to indicate this is the place where the front-facing camera is located. Since the hole is surrounded by screen area, this doesn’t seem to be a notch, but rather a camera embedded right into the display.
