Microsoft Releases New Beta of Android Launcher to Fix Battery Issues

Microsoft has recently launched a new Microsoft Launcher for Android beta build in an attempt to correct a battery drain issue introduced in a previous release.

Available only for beta users, Microsoft Launcher comes with a series of changes that should help Microsoft determine the cause of the battery glitch, so it’s important for users to read the full release notes before installing it.

First and foremost, it’s important to know that this new version does not come with the Timeline feature, and users can no longer enable it in the settings screen.

Microsoft says that it has also implemented a new tool in this build that would collect info on the battery issue and send it to the company for further investigation.
