Blizzard Announces Diablo Immortal for iOS and Android, Fans Shocked

Blizzard announced the launch of the Diablo franchise on Apple's mobile iOS platform and Android devices in the near future, in the form of a full-fledged MMO RPG with the story taking place between Diablo II: Lord of Destruction and Diablo III.

The Diablo mobile game will be named Diablo Immortal and will be released as a mobile Massively Multiplayer Online Action RPG (MMOARPG) for iOS and Android devices, while being developed by Blizzard Entertainment in cooperation with NetEase.

According to Diablo's official Twitter, "Seeing is believing—Diablo Immortal is a breathtaking, full-fledged hack-and-slash mobile MMO action RPG, featuring a fresh take on familiar classes while exploring a new chapter in the history of the Eternal Conflict."
